The Ozmist Food Bubble Fruit & Vegetable Washer uses a high-capacity side-channel blower to inject compressed air through diffuser bars mounted along the base of a stainless-steel wash tank. The resulting rapid bubble stream creates hydrodynamic cavitation that lifts soil, insect debris, and surface microbial biofilm from produce without mechanical brushing that would damage tender leaves and berries. Water recirculates through a coarse filter and 100-micron polishing filter, extending water use across multiple loads. The unit operates without chemical additives, though it accepts an optional dosing kit for hypochlorite or ozone-in-water depending on the customer’s HACCP plan. Standard capacities from 60 kg/batch to 300 kg/batch cover restaurants, cloud kitchens, hotel commissaries, and salad processors. Ozmist manufactures all wash tanks and blower housings in-house at our Greater Noida facility with AISI 304 food-contact stainless steel and NSF-grade seals.
